Tasty Flowers: Flowers for Cakes
One thing every guest looks forward to at a wedding: The cake! They may not remember your first dance song, the color of your table linens or to even grab their favor on their way out the door, but your family and friends will always remember your wedding cake. The way it tasted AND looked!
Rightfully so, wedding cakes with flowers are one of the most popular big day desserts. Incorporating your floral scheme into your cake adds vibrancy to an otherwise simple cake, all at a relatively low cost. Couples can skip pricier cake decor - like elaborate toppers or elegant fondant desings - in favor of floral adornments.
And for those looking to splurge on sugar flowers, you can achieve an artsy and edible decorated cake. Not to mention the endless options of color and design with faux flowers.
Couples looking to stick with the traditional topper can still incorporate flowers in their design. Consider flower buds and greenery cascading down from your initials, or simple petals surrounding the cake base. You really can have it all!
Check out these beautiful wedding cakes with flowers from bakers across the country. With countless options, including hand-painted, cascading, single-bloom, and overloaded-floral styles, it's impossible not to find a delicious confection you absolutely love.
