Jesse and Alex's Smith Memorial Playground Wedding in Philadelphia was definitely one for the books! Honestly, when have you ever been to, or heard of, a wedding at a 16,000 sq. ft. mansion that was converted into a playhouse with a massive 6.5 acre playground as a backyard?! They picked this venue because they love having a good time and just wanted their guests to be able to have fun and relax. The beginning of the day went extremely smooth considering Alex and Jesse were getting ready at a hotel that was in Center City, Philadelphia in the middle of the NFL Draft celebration.
We left the hotels after first look and managed to make it to Smith Memorial Playground with a bunch of time to spare. We finished up portraits at the mansion playhouse which led into the outdoor ceremony on the front courtyard.
Cocktail hour followed where the guests were able to find their name and table locations attached to their own unique Pez Candy Dispensers.
From there, guests were able to drink and play on the 40ft Wooden Slide and Playground. The reception begun with food catered by a Taco Food Truck and a Macaroni and Cheese Food Truck.
The party started and got wild before the guests were able to dig into their awesome Doughnut Cake created with Federal Doughnuts from Philadelphia.
Congratulations Jesse & Alex!
