"Bekah & Lacey were married in rural Iowa in the beautiful Festhalle Barn. Countless hours & so much heart had gone into the pretty, personalized details that made the barn feel so cozy & beautiful. The transition from ceremony to reception was flawless, keeping the same rustic charm all the way through."
The couple decided to see each other for the first time as Bekah walked down the aisle, so instead of a first look they opted for a letter exchange. The two stood back to back, exchanging love letters they had written. It was a beautiful moment, as they both shed tears reading the others' words.
As Bekah walked down the aisle shortly after, Lacey's love was written all over her face. While light streamed in from the vaulted barn roof above, the officiant, donning her rainbow sash, lead a heartfelt ceremony. Bekah & Lacey watered a tree together, a fitting alternative to a unity candle. They then walked to the first row of seats, where photos of loved ones who had passed were sitting. They took a moment of silence at each photo & placed a bouquet of baby's breath at each one.
The theme was gorgeous, filled with mint, grey, and gold colors. This DIY barn wedding was a rural masterpiece!
