Finally the big day came. I was completely and utterly transfixed at how gorgeous these two girls looked in their dresses. Their first look made me tear up. Watching Alyssa get dressed made her mom tear up. So the day was filled with joyful, tearful moments! I love shooting at the Hacienda in Santa Ana. It is one of my favorite venues. I’m a sucker for twinkly fairy lights.
We started the day the Alyssa’s moms house because that’s the way Alyssa has always wanted it…. even though it was a choatic day with all of the girls getting ready we were able to carve out a corner near a bookcase full of records and were able to do their first look there.
Afterwards we went to downtown Anaheim near Muzeo where we tried to stay mostly in the shade.. it was a pretty warm day. Noah and I shot Alyssa and Natalie all over the area. They literally looked like porcelain princesses! Then we headed to the Hacienda were I shot their ceremony followed by reception! Congrats to my girls! It has been an honor watching Alyssa grow up and now having Natalie makes things even better.
