Sparks flew when their eyes met in 2014, little did they know it was the start of something special. Four years later Cassie recaptured that moment with her romantic proposal—in the same seat where destiny united them for the first time! All of those closest to them witnessed this magical surprise and it’s a night neither will ever forget.
After a long journey together, their dream of tying the knot finally came true! The event was filled with romantic nostalgia: delicate shades of blues and lavenders evoking vintage chic coupled with modern touches that highlighted their unique style. Even during tumultuous times, Ashley & Cassie stayed grounded in tradition by jumping the broom—a joyful leap into faithfulness and love.
When it came to wedding decor, Ashley & Cassie wanted their day to showcase unique touches that only they could bring. They gave everyone a glimpse of “Words & Whiskey,” with custom-made table numbers and framed engagement photos plus some favorite books + whiskey bottles! It was the perfect combination for all those special moments on such an exciting day.
Michaela Moran of Days of May Florals helped make their wedding the stuff dreams are made of! From a delightful flower headband for me to blush hued lighting fixtures and sweetheart table decorations, Michaela truly captured the style they desired.
They wanted to make their wedding day extra special, so Dizzy Cow Pizzeria in Baltimore served up delicious pizza for a late night snack. Plus, Shawn Diggs (DJ MIXXED) brought the house down with their amazing music and Mr Shuttersworth added some photo booth fun! Their guests were sure to have an unforgettable experience – it was truly magical!
Exchange of vows is often accompanied by exchange of style statements, and Cassie and Ashley did just that on their special day. From hand-made black suit to a vintage wedding dress – it was nothing short of perfect! In order to achieve the ‘royal’ look for her attire, Cassie got Brian Alexander from DC to create something entirely bespoke fit for royalty. To add an extra sparkle she wore custom pendant necklace which made everyone’s eyes light up with admiration. As for Ashley’s Bridgerton inspired gown? She found timeless perfection when purchased at Anna’s Bridal in Alexandria featuring alluring lace details — making hearts beat faster during the ceremony!
